I Met Drew Carey!!!!!
I met my first Hollywood star today since moving down to LA. I was at Bob's Big Boy in Burbank for a gathering of people I know off a forum, and he was there having lunch.
The organizer of the gathering went over and asked him if he'd come over to have his picture taken with us, and he graciously agreed. He's very personable and friendly, and even cracked a few jokes.
It did seem that he was a little distracted or troubled by something though. Or perhaps he was just deep in concentration.
This is the first Hollywood star I've met since I met Tucker Smallwood about 10 years ago (also in LA, and also at a gathering of friends of another internet forum).
Sheesh....I need to get a life :)

on a sied note- that was my dad's fav place growing up.... he live in burbank, and ate there all the time. he used to take me sometimes too!

I'll post it as soon as I get permission to post it...it's not my photo, so let me check with the couple that took it :)
Tracy and I went to see a taping of Whose Line is it Anyway? It was right after Drew got laser surgery for his eyes and he wasn't wearing glasses. He said it was weird because he doesn't need glasses any more, but they've become such a part of his image that he still has to wear them. He is a really funny guy.
